| This design/build enclosure package posed many challenges:
Challenge #1:
Develop a glass curtainwall and aluminum panel exterior that meet the designers aesthetic requirements yet are engineered efficiently enough that no perimeter heating system is required.
Challenge #2:
Convince the buildings mechanical engineers that the required exterior materials technology exists.
Challenge #3:
Prove our ability to overcome all technological challenges to world-renowned architect Rafael Vinoly.
Solution:
Architectural Glass & Metals, Inc., designers developed a cost-effective marriage of Visionwall Corporation curtainwall with suspended film technology and insulated Alply panels.
