| Beta Design Group came to Architectural Glass & Metals, Inc., with two unique challenges:
Challenge #1:
Develop a leak-proof, long-life-cycle building enclosure on a building that includes a metal roof designed with intricate valleys and gable conditions.
Challenge #2:
Engineer an ultra-high-performance glass curtainwall of clear insulated glass as the atrium-main entrance.
Solutions:
Architectural Glass & Metals, Inc., helped in product selection and engineered the details of these two critical exterior components. Product evaluation and engineering efforts focused on ensuring that each product and each critical product interface performs well over the long life cycle of the museum. Architectural Glass & Metals, Inc., also helped building architects with specification development. This project was competitively bid. |
