Several challenges were presented in the design stages:

Challenge #1:
The architect was looking for a holographic light through the Kalwall.

Solution:
Special integral films installed inside the Kalwall achieved the aesthetic for the projecting “lanterns.”

Challenge #2:
The designer required ventilation through the glass curtainwall but wanted to maintain the visual appearance of fixed glass. The designer also incorporated a radius horizontal accent. The project required creating a cost-effective curtainwall without identifying the vents. Architectural Glass & Metals, Inc., researched suppliers and identified those who could meet the engineering and budgetary challenges.
