Challenge:
Provide a clearspan skylight system to enclose an existing exterior courtyard without introducing excessive thrust loads into existing masonry construction.

Solution:
Architectural Glass & Metals worked with DTS Architects and the engineering staff at Structures Unlimited to design and engineer a 42' clearspan aluminum framed translucent skylight with endwalls and minimal outward thrust. The entire skylight assembly was installed start to finish in less than 10 days.
